FIG. 03 — HOW A PROJECT RUNS
Six steps.
No surprises
in any of them.
Most people who have hired a developer before have the same scar: the price moved, the date moved, and nobody told them until it was too late. This page exists so you can see the whole thing before you spend anything.
STEP 01
Day 1, 30 minutes
A conversation about the process, not the website
By message or call, whichever you prefer. We ask what happens today when a customer wants to book, order or ask a question: who touches it, where it goes, and where it goes wrong. We are not selling in this call, we are trying to find out whether software is even the answer. Sometimes it is not, and we will tell you.
YOU GET
A written summary of the problem in plain language, yours to keep.
STEP 02
Within 48 hours
A one-page scope with a fixed price
One page. Every screen and every feature listed, so you can see exactly what is in and what is out. One price, one delivery date. If something you expected is missing, you say so now and we revise it, not after you have paid.
YOU GET
The scope document. Still free, still no commitment.
STEP 03
The day you say yes
Half up front, then we start
Fifty percent to begin, fifty percent when it is live and you are happy. You get a receipt for every payment. We do not start before the deposit and we do not ask for more mid-way.
YOU GET
A start date and a shared checklist you can open any time.
STEP 04
Weeks 1 to 5
Build, with something to look at every week
Interface and server are built in parallel, one of us on each. Every week you get a link to the real thing running on a test address, not a screenshot. You can click it, break it, and tell us what is wrong while it is still cheap to change.
YOU GET
A weekly link and a short note on what changed.
STEP 05
The week before launch
Your turn to break it
You and your staff use it on your own phones, with your real data, before anyone else sees it. The people who will actually use it every day are the ones who find the real problems. We fix what you find. Two rounds of changes are included.
YOU GET
A system your team has already tried and trusts.
STEP 06
Launch day
Live, and it belongs to you
Deployed on your own domain with SSL and automatic backups, in accounts registered in your name. You receive the source code, the database, every login, and a short written guide your staff can follow without calling us.
YOU GET
30 days of free fixes, then optional monthly support.
Four things we put in writing
The price does not move
Unless you ask for something outside the scope. Then you get the extra cost in writing and you decide.
The date is in writing
Miss it by more than a week for a reason that is ours, and the final payment drops ten percent.
You hold the code from week one
In your own repository, not ours. If we vanish, any developer can continue.
Nothing is in our name
Domain, hosting, database, email. All registered to you. There is nothing to hold hostage.
Step one costs nothing.
Tell us how bookings reach you today. If software is not the answer we will say so.
